Is balayage right for dark or previously colored hair?
It can be, but your color history matters. Previously colored hair may lift unevenly, and a much lighter result may require more than one visit. Chris will discuss a realistic plan at your consultation.
How is balayage different from foil highlights?
Balayage uses painted placement to create a graduated effect. Foils can create precise brightness and dimension too. The right technique, or combination of techniques, depends on your starting hair and the result you want.
